Newton

Newton Foundation

Supporting the open development and decentralization of Newton Protocol, the authorization layer for assets on the move.

What is the authorization layer?

Smart contracts execute exactly what they're told. They can't see who is sending a transaction, or whether it should be allowed. Newton Protocol checks each transaction against its policy before it settles, and publishes a signed receipt anyone can verify.

Policies, enforced.

Rules like spending limits, eligibility checks, and sanctions screening are evaluated before a transaction executes, not flagged after the fact.

No single gatekeeper.

An operator network does the checking. No single company decides what goes through, and every decision is publicly attested.

Receipts, not trust.

Every evaluation produces a signed onchain receipt. Anyone can verify what was checked and why it passed, on the Newton Explorer.
